La Vallée Village: the complete guide to the luxury outlet village near Disneyland
Right next to the Val d’Europe shopping centre, La Vallée Village is an open-air designer outlet village, with pedestrian streets and little colourful houses. It has more than 110 boutiques for fashion, accessories and homeware, French and international designers, from luxury to premium ready-to-wear, always at reduced prices. Here is our complete guide to planning your visit and finding real bargains.
A village, not a mall
Forget enclosed malls: La Vallée Village looks like a little village street, with pastel façades, slate roofs, benches and trees. You stroll in the open air from boutique to boutique, as in a shopping district.
Each boutique offers previous seasons’ collections, end-of-lines and sometimes specially made pieces, with discounts of at least 33% off the recommended retail price, and often much more during the sales.
Which brands will you find?
The line-up changes regularly, but the balance stays the same:
Luxury
Several great French and Italian fashion and leather-goods houses, for bags, shoes and accessories at reduced prices.
Premium ready-to-wear
French and international fashion brands for women, men and children.
Sport and leisure
Sports, mountain and casual-wear brands, ideal for the whole family.
Home and beauty
Tableware, household linen, fragrances and cosmetics.
The full, up-to-date list of boutiques is published on La Vallée Village’s official website. We recommend checking it before you come to spot your favourite brands.

Tax-free shopping for non-EU visitors
If you live outside the European Union, you can reclaim part of the VAT on your purchases, from €100.01 spent on the same day in the same boutique.
Ask for the tax-refund form at the till, show your passport, then have the document validated at customs when you leave the EU (airport or station). The refund is then paid to your card or in cash depending on the service chosen.
Since the United Kingdom left the European Union, UK residents can also benefit from tax-free shopping. Keep your receipts and passport with you.
Our tips for buying well
- Come on a weekday morning: the streets are calmer, sizes more available and staff more available too.
- Spot your brands in advance on the official website and plan your route so you do not go round in circles.
- Set a budget: with discounts everywhere, it is easy to get carried away.
- Compare with regular shop prices on your phone: most of the time the difference is real, but not always on every item.
- Watch for the sales (January and summer) and private sales: extra discounts are added to already reduced prices.
- Use the left luggage to drop your bags and carry on light.
- Enjoy the lights at the end of the year: the village is very pretty at Christmas.
Combine it with Disneyland Paris and Val d’Europe
Many of our guests spend one or two days at the parks, then half a day shopping. The village is one RER stop from the parks and connects with the Val d’Europe shopping centre, also home to the Sea Life aquarium and dozens of restaurants. An ideal combination:
- Morning: La Vallée Village, before the crowds.
- Lunch: on Place des Étoiles at Val d’Europe.
- Afternoon: Sea Life with the children, or a break at the apartment.
- Evening: dinner at Disney Village.
A morning at La Vallée Village is often when parents treat themselves, while the children are still dreaming of yesterday at Disneyland.
Which visit for your profile?
The luxury lover
Come at opening on a weekday with a precise list of houses to visit. The best pieces go quickly.
Families
Start with the sports and children’s brands, use the pushchair access and plan a snack break at Val d’Europe next door.
Tight budgets
Target the sales periods and end-of-line sections, and set a maximum amount before you go in.
Overseas visitors
Remember tax-free shopping, your passport and left luggage for your bags before your flight.
When to come
The best times for bargains are the sales, in January and in summer, when extra discounts are added to already reduced prices. The end of the year is also lovely, with the Christmas lights, but crowds are heavy.
For a calm visit, choose a weekday at opening time. Avoid Saturday afternoons and public holidays, which are very busy.
Our ideal morning at La Vallée Village
10 am: arrive at opening. The shops are calm, the rails tidy, and all sizes still available. It is the best time for major purchases.
11:30 am: a coffee break on a terrace, time to compare the prices you spotted and decide what is really worth it.
12:30 pm: lunch on site or at nearby Val d’Europe, a few minutes’ walk away.
2 pm: back to the apartment to drop off the bags, then off to the parks for the afternoon and the evening show. A full day, without rushing.
With children, it’s doable
La Vallée Village is explored on foot, outdoors, along easy pedestrian lanes that suit pushchairs. A few tips so everyone has a good time:
- Start with the children’s shops: they will be more patient afterwards for yours.
- Plan a reward: a snack, a small souvenir, or the promise of a ride in the afternoon.
- Split the roles: one parent shops while the other walks with the children, then swap.
- Keep the visit to two or three hours: beyond that, tiredness wins over fun.
False. The shops mainly offer previous seasons’ collections, end-of-line items and surplus stock, new and in perfect condition. The discounts come from the fashion calendar, not the quality. Simply check each item at the till, as in any shop.
Planning your budget
Before you go, make a list of what you really need: a winter coat, trainers, a travel bag. Check usual prices online so you can spot a genuine bargain. And set yourself a budget: with so many brands in one place, it is easy to get carried away.
