Disney Village in 2026: shops, restaurants, cinema and evenings in Marne-la-Vallée
Between Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station and the Disney hotels, Disney Village is the pedestrian street of restaurants, shops and evening entertainment at Disneyland Paris. Its big advantage: entry is free, with no park ticket, and the street stays lively long after the parks close. Under transformation since 2023, it has changed a lot, with a new flagship store opened in September 2026. Here is our complete, up-to-date guide.
What exactly is Disney Village?
Opened in 1992 alongside Disneyland Park, as Festival Disney, Disney Village links the station with the hotels around Lake Disney. People come to eat before or after the parks, buy souvenirs without paying admission, go to the cinema or simply stroll by the water.
It is also the natural route between the station and the Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge and New York – The Art of Marvel hotels. In short, whether or not you stay on site, you will pass through it.
A makeover in stages
In 2023 Disneyland Paris launched a major renovation of Disney Village, carried out in phases so the street never closes. The old American-inspired façades are gradually giving way to a more elegant, brighter setting more in keeping with the Disney world.
On 22 September 2026 the first big phase was completed with the North block: five shops and a bar and, above all, façades decorated with artwork inspired by Disney films, engravings, paintings and murals. Work now continues on the South side until 2027.
The shops
Disney Wonders, the new flagship
Opened on 22 September 2026 in place of the former Disney Store, Disney Wonders is the street’s new showcase. It features Star Wars, with more items than anywhere else on the resort, Frozen, Marvel, Stitch and a large soft-toy section.
You pay at self-service tills, a first for Disney, which makes evening visits much smoother. About one item in five is sold nowhere else on the resort: perfect for a truly original souvenir.
World of Disney
The resort’s biggest shop, for all the classic souvenirs: soft toys, clothes, Mickey ears, tableware, toys.
Disney Style
Opened in 2025: Disney-themed fashion for adults and children, with collections that change with the seasons.
Disney Glamour
Opened in 2025: jewellery, bags and accessories, a more refined shop than the others.
Deco by Disney
Opened in 2025: home décor, from mugs to cushions and posters.
Our tip: shop at Disney Village in the evening, after the parks, rather than carrying bags all day. And if you are after big-name fashion at reduced prices, the La Vallée Village outlet is one RER stop away.
Where to eat at Disney Village
The street has some twenty places to eat, from quick bites to sit-down dinners. These are the ones to know in 2026:
| Restaurant | Cuisine | Our view |
|---|---|---|
| Brasserie Rosalie | French brasserie | Opened in 2023: a real brasserie, ideal for a family dinner in a lovely setting. |
| Casa Giulia | Italian | A new two-storey restaurant with terraces, on the site of the former Planet Hollywood. Opening announced in the coming months. |
| Vapiano | Pasta and pizza | Being refurbished inside, with a new children’s play area upstairs, until early 2027. |
| Annette’s Diner | 1950s American | Under renovation, reopening planned for 2027. |
| The sports bar | Bar and grill | Enlarged in 2025, to watch a match as a family on the big screen. |
| McDonald’s | Fast food | Moved in early 2026, for a quick meal. |
Rainforest Café will close by the end of 2026 as part of the South block renovation. If you want one last dinner there with the children, it is now or never.
The Pathé cinema
The Disney Village cinema, run by Pathé, is also being transformed: a new façade designed by Ora Ito, a café, a refurbished ice-cream corner with terrace and play areas. It is a great idea for a quiet evening after a day in the parks, or for a rainy day with tired children. Several screenings are shown in the original language with subtitles.
Lake Disney at nightfall
Disney Village runs along Lake Disney, around which several hotels are built. At nightfall, the waterside walk is one of the most pleasant on the resort, with the illuminated hotel façades reflected in the lake.
It makes a lovely after-dinner stroll, free and open to all. Children love counting the lights on the water, and parents finally get a moment of calm.
Christmas at Disney Village
For its first full Christmas season since the North block makeover, Disney Village is decked with giant snowflakes, a winter photo set and festive entertainment from 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. Shops often extend their hours before the holidays. See the full programme in the parks in our article on Christmas 2026 at Disneyland Paris.
A typical evening at Disney Village
- Park closing: leave a few minutes before the crowd, or after the evening show.
- Shopping: a stop at Disney Wonders or World of Disney, without carrying bags all day.
- Dinner: at Brasserie Rosalie or one of the Italian restaurants, booked in advance.
- Stroll: a walk around Lake Disney to admire the reflections of the illuminated hotels.
- Home: the station is two minutes on foot, and our apartments a few minutes by car or bus.
Our tips
- Book your restaurant on Saturday evenings and in the holidays: queues build quickly after the parks close.
- Eat early, around 18:30, or after the evening show, to avoid the peak.
- Use Disney Village on departure day: two minutes from the RER and TGV station, it is handy for a last purchase or meal before your train.
- Parking: the main Disneyland Paris car park charges a fee; if you are only coming for the evening, check the rates at the entrance.
Disney Village is the day’s little magical extension: you keep the party going without a ticket before heading home to rest.
Disney Village with children
The street is pedestrian, lively and lit until late: ideal for a family evening. A few ideas to keep children busy after the parks:
- The shop windows, real little museums of soft toys and games.
- The walk around Lake Disney, by pushchair or on foot.
- The cinema, for an animated film at the end of your stay.
- The themed restaurants, where children dine in spectacular settings.
What about daytime?
Disney Village is busiest in the evening, but it has daytime advantages too. You can shop without a park ticket, have a quiet lunch during a break between parks, or wait for your train on a lakeside terrace. It is also the route to the Disney hotels around the lake.
