Hotel or apartment near Disneyland Paris: why choose a short-term rental
For a stay at Disneyland Paris, many families hesitate between a hotel and a short-term rental apartment. Both have their advantages, but as soon as you travel as a group, for more than two nights or with young children, the apartment often wins hands down. Here is our honest comparison, our tips for choosing well and an introduction to our six apartments around the parks.
1. Room for everyone
A hotel room is often a single space for the whole family: the children fall asleep at 8 pm and the parents spend the evening whispering in the dark. An apartment means a bedroom for the parents, one for the children, a living room and sometimes a garden or terrace.
After a 15-kilometre day in the parks, being able to spread out, shower without queuing and enjoy a quiet drink while the children sleep completely changes the stay.
2. A kitchen to save money
Breakfasts, snacks, dinners: with a fitted kitchen you eat as you do at home and make real savings on food, often the second-biggest expense after tickets. A simple example: for a family of four, hotel breakfast can cost several tens of euros a day; at the apartment, a few euros of groceries is enough.
The Val d’Europe supermarkets, including a large hypermarket, are minutes away. You can also prepare a picnic for the day in the parks, where it is allowed.
3. The extra luxury: a private spa
Some of our apartments have a private hot tub, and our Suite & Spa XL even has a sauna. The best way to recover after kilometres of walking, with no booking slots and no other guests around you.

4. No nasty surprises on price
At 123HOME, cleaning is included, so are sheets and towels, and there is never a cleaning fee added at the end. Booking direct on our website gets you the best available price, with no platform commission.
Hotel or apartment: the comparison
| Criterion | Hotel | 123HOME apartment |
|---|---|---|
| Space | One room, sometimes two | Several rooms, living room, sometimes garden or terrace |
| Meals | Restaurant or paid breakfast | Fitted kitchen, shops nearby |
| Relaxation | Shared pool or spa depending on the hotel | Private spa in several apartments |
| Arrival | Reception desk, sometimes with a wait | Self check-in from 4 pm, codes sent on the day |
| Price | Often per room and per person | Per apartment, cleaning included, no hidden fees |
| Ideal for | One or two nights, couples | Families, groups, multi-night stays |
Disney hotels have one advantage: some allow earlier entry to the parks, and you walk back. But for a family of four or five over three nights, an apartment a few minutes away usually costs far less, with much more space.

- Count the beds, not just the people: check the sleeping arrangements so everyone sleeps well.
- Look at access to the parks: on foot, by bus or by RER, depending on whether you have a car.
- Think about parking if you come by car: several of our apartments have a space.
- Choose the spa if you are staying more than two nights: your legs will thank you.
- Book direct on our website: best price and direct contact with our team.

In the evening, when the children are asleep in their own room and you are enjoying the spa, you will know you made the right choice.
What you find when you arrive
We are often asked what to bring. The answer is simple: your personal belongings, and that is about it. In our apartments you will find:
Linen
Sheets on, beds made, bath towels for every guest. No need to fill your suitcase with linen.
A fitted kitchen
Hob, oven or microwave, fridge, crockery, pans, coffee maker: enough to cook a real meal, not just heat one up.
Comfort
Wi-Fi, TV, heating, and in several apartments a private hot tub or sauna.
Little extras
The basics to start your stay, and a team on hand if anything is missing.
Exact amenities vary from one apartment to another: each apartment’s page on our website lists them one by one, with photos. If in doubt, ask us before booking.
A typical day from a 123HOME apartment
7:30 am: breakfast at home
Everyone eats at their own pace, in pyjamas, with what they like. Meanwhile, you make sandwiches and fill water bottles for the day.
8:45 am: off to the parks
A few minutes by bus, RER or on foot depending on the apartment, and you are at the gates before opening, when queues are shortest.
1 pm: the break that saves the day
With young children, going back for a quiet nap is a real luxury. The little ones head out again full of energy for the afternoon and the evening show.
6 pm: shopping at Val d’Europe
A stop at the hypermarket for dinner and the next day’s breakfast, at normal prices, far from park prices.
11 pm: the spa after the show
The children are asleep in their room. You sink into the hot tub and replay the day. It is often the parents’ favourite memory.
